first_imgDiane GrayDianne Gray, 71, of Winfield, died Friday, July 8, 2016 at the Serenity Senior Retreat in Wellington.Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, July 15, at the Oxford Funeral Service Chapel. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 14, from 12 to 8 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Oxford Funeral Service Chapel. A memorial has been established with Serenity Senior Retreat in Wellington and may be left with Oxford Funeral Service. Burial will be at the Oxford Cemetery. Arrangements are with Oxford Funeral Service. For further information please visit www.oxfordfuneralservice.com.Dianne Louis Gray was born on October 3, 1944 the daughter of Everett and Gladys (Prothro) Lowry in Wellington. She was a 1963 graduate of Oxford High School. Dianne was a homemaker who also worked a Benney & Smith as a machine mechanic for over 24 years. She also raised cattle and farmed. Dianne enjoyed sewing and quilting, making bird houses and all kinds of crafts. On August 17, 1991 she was united in marriage with Ronald Gray. The couple enjoyed traveling to Texas in the winter; riding motorcycles and being part of a camping club. Most importantly she loved her family and grandchildren.Surviving to honor her memory is her husband Ronald Gray of Winfield, son, Ronnnie Gaither and wife Amy of Oxford, daughter Dana Hanlan and husband Joseph of Wichita,; and sister Barbara Rebold of Texoma, Okla.; 9 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and 9 step-great-grandchildren.Dianne is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, George Lowrey.last_img
