Flipkart teaser hints Samsung Galaxy Note 9 to launch in India on August 9, sale around August 15

Samsung has already teased the device and has almost confirmed that the next Note will be launched at its Unpacked event in New York. Now there is a hint that the phone will also see the India launch on the same day with e-commerce sites showcasing the device on its website on August 9. Flipkart has already posted a teaser for the Note 9 launch – the same one that Samsung is using – in its mobile app.But August 9 is also likely to be a date for the soft launch of the Galaxy Note 9 in India. The formal launch is expected to be around August 15 and the sale of the device too will start around the same time.Irrespective of when the Galaxy Note 9 goes on sale, one thing is certain that India will be among the first countries to get it and that the device will be available on Flipkart.For now there is no information about the India price of the Galaxy Note 9, but chances are that the MRP is going to be at least Rs 70,000 or slightly higher. The Galaxy Note 9, just like the top Note phones in previous years, is likely to come with the best technologies that Samsung can find to put in its phones. This will be an ultra high-end phone and is going to be priced like one. Samsung has teased a high-end phone in the recent days without explicitly saying this is the Note 9. But the company is promising a phone that offers long battery life, fast performance and plenty of storage. In addition, there have been number of leaks that have given people a look at the Note 9 design and features. The phone is not going to be all that much different from the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus in terms of looks but it will come with a stylus, which will offer users some unique features not available in other phones.advertisementAccording to leaks so far, it seems that the Galaxy Note 9 will come with a 6.4-inch high-resolution OLED screen and will have a 3850 may battery inside it. The phone is expected to come with at least 6GB RAM, up to 256GB internal storage and Samsung’s customised software based on Android-Oreo. Just like the other top Galaxy phones, the Note 9 too is expected to use a mix of processors.
